Welcome to the Sustainable Planning & Innovation in Construction & Engineering (SPICE) research Lab website. The research team at the SPICE lab focuses on addressing the sustainability-related challenges faced by architectures, engineers, constructors, managers, and policy makers through innovative solutions. SPICE team efforts are focused on cutting-edge interdisciplinary research in Science, Technology, and Engineering with broad impact. Our goal is to enhance the sustainability and resiliency of the built environment in planning, design, construction, operation, and management of civil infrastructure systems.
SPICE is directed by Dr. Amirhosein Jafari at Bert S. Turner Department of Construction Management at Louisiana State University.
